HEAL Osteopathic Bridge Program
October 2022

HEAL has formed an exclusive partnership with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) to provide accepted students, upon completion of the program and receipt of a recommendation from HEAL's Chief Medical Officer, a guaranteed interview with LECOM for the 2023-2024 application cycle. All students must apply and be accepted in order to receive access to enrollment.

An Immersive Experience

The Osteopathic Bridge Program (OPB) is a first-of-its-kind educational opportunity for aspiring pre-medical students applying to medical school. Students will interact with real osteopathic physicians and review real patient cases through the lens of the osteopathic philosophy and Osteopathic Manipulative Techniques. 

Students will receive  coaching on how to become a stronger applicant, as well as training in interview skills and personal statement writing. Students who complete the program and receive a recommendation from HEAL's Chief Medical Officer are guaranteed an interview with LECOM for the 2023 application cycle. 

Eligible Students

LECOM guarantees an interview for all students who are within two years of applying, have met all prerequisites listed in the application, and have received a recommendation from the program's Master Instructor

Program Dates

Classes are held twice per week from 12:00 - 1:30pm ET each Saturday and Sunday, beginning April 2nd and ending on April 30th. 
Note: No class to be held on Apr. 17th due to Easter holiday. 

Deadline to Apply

All applications must be submitted by March 30. Applicants will be notified of their admissions decision via email after it has been reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Decisions are typically made within 2 weeks of submission.
